                               The day had finally arrived!!

                 The day the Bowling Green was officially opened

          Our Honorary Patron - Rt.Hon. Gavin Williamson MP - kindly agreed to open the Green.

​

​

         The event lasted until the evening, however, our photographer wanted to play bowls, so stopped taking

         pictures just after midday.

Nearly ready for our opening 
Two of our Members donated a bench each, in memory of their late husbands. The one on the left, as you look at the pic, is in memory of the late Neville Harrison. the one on the right is in memory of the late Harry M. Fleet

It's a game for everyone to try - whatever their physical ability 
Our volunteers. The two smiling blondes on the left of the pic were the Tea Ladies. 
Everyone had a great day! 
Now that the Green is open, we welcome everyone to come and try this absorbing game and, hopefully, join our friendly club.​
